Eligah Lee Williams

Eligah Lee Williams of Sheridan, Arkansas was born January 27, 1933 at Trumann, Arkansas, the son of the late James Oscar and Jennie Louise Debuse Williams. He was a retired Petty Officer First Class from the United States Navy where he served in Korea as well as Vietnam. He really enjoyed the outdoors, including hunting and fishing. Mr. Williams died, Saturday, December 11, 2010, at his home near Sheridan, at the age of 77. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Williams. Survivors include his wife, Rosalea Gibson Williams of the home; son, Roger Lee and wife Susan Kay Williams of Pine Bluff; daughter, Rebecca Dawn Coleman and fiancé Steve Bowman of Las Vegas, Nevada; brothers, Shirley Williams of Hillsborough, Missouri, Charles Williams and John Williams both of Owensville, Missouri and Dale Williams of Fredricktown, Missouri; sisters, Estelle Breckle of St. Louis, Missiouri, Dorothy Pewitt of St. Clair, Missouri, Lavada Breckle of Cave City, Margie Nettles of Park Hill, Missouri, Linda Roods of Fredricktown, Missouri, and Sue Williams of Fredricktown, Missouri; grandchildren, Richard Herron, Nicholas Coleman, Kimberley Williams and Roger Lee Williams Jr.; six great-grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan. Burial with Military honors will be at Arkansas Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock at 12 noon. Visitation: 5-7 p.m., Tuesday.
