Raymond Waslick, 66 of Rose Bud passed away Sunday, December 12, 2010. He was born Friday, January 7, 1944 to the late Vincent and Anna Waslick. He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Viet Nam War, worked for many years on off shore drilling in Alaska, Venezuela, Nigeria, Indonesia, Tnisua, Australia, and the Gulf of Mexico. At the time of his death he was employed by the Searcy Public Schools. Mr. Waslick is survived by his wife, Dorothy Waslick of the home; a daughter, Georgeann Whistle; grandsons, Andrew Childers and Ross Childers; step-daughters, Vicky Booth (Mel), Mary Nelson (Tracy), Phyllis Smith (Joey); granddaughters, Stephanie Kindle (Chris), Valerie Nelson, Rachael Smith, Brittany Nelson, Emily Smith; step-children, Tommy Dructor, Susan Dructor-Coon, Steven Dructor; great-granddaughter, Amaya Kindle; brother, Larry Waslick; sister, Dorothy Paglianile; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Waslick is preceded in death by a sister, Anna Marie Waslick. Visitation will begin 3 p.m., Wednesday, December 15, 2010 in the State Room of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy. Funeral services will be 5 p.m., Wednesday, December 15, 2010 in the Chapel of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home.
