Eugene Edward Ellison

Eugene Edward Ellison was born January 21, 1943, in Little Rock, AR to Arthur D. Ellison Sr. and Hattie M. Hill. He departed this life on December 9, 2010. He is preceded by both parents. Eugene's early childhood in Little Rock was pretty simple. He attended the First Baptist Church of Canselor. Additional where he attended Sunday School. He attended St. Bartholomew Catholic School, Dunbar Jr. High, and Horace Mann High School Class of 1962. Afterwards, he joined the military and spent four years in the Navy during the Vietnam Era on the U.S.S. Randolph CVA14 and was Honorably Discharged in 1967. After military service, he married Ms. Mary Coleman and through this union two sons were born, Spencer (Nicole) Ellison of Tyler, Texas and Troy (Michelle) Ellison of Little Rock. Eugene leaves three brothers, Arthur (Margaret) Ellison Jr.of Bells, Texas, Sammie (Betty) Ellison of Los Angeles, Calif. and Dr. Lawrence (Karen) Ellison of Fairbanks, Alaska; one aunt, Sarah Juniel and seven grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral service will be Friday December 17, 2010, 10 a.m. at Premier Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Thursday December 16, 2010 from 6 until 7 pm at the funeral home.
