Mildred Louise Glass Norton Whitley

Mildred Louise Glass Norton Whitley was born on January 23, 1918 in Kemper County, Mississippi to Bernice and Roger Glass. She was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, December 14, 2010. Nanny, as she was known by her grandchildren is survived by two sons, Joe (Joyce) of Conway and Bob Norton (Trisha) of Benton and two stepdaughters, Eva (Bobby) White and Ann (Carol Dean) Poole. She was loved by her five grandsons, Mike (Stephanie), Kevin (Kim), Brian (Cara), Roger (deceased), Matt (Amanda) and one granddaughter, Kara (Paul) and was thrilled to be able to know and love her 11 great-grandchildren, seven great-granddaughters and four great-grandsons. She is also survived by two nieces, Deborah (Dale) Jackson of Meredian, Mississippi and Lynne (Buck) Buchanan of Tyler, Texas, as well as Becky Norton Goodwin (former wife of grandson Roger) and her husband, Barry of Waynesville, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Bernice Glass and one brother, Ray Glass (Estelle), all of Meredian, Mississippi, her oldest grandson, Roger Norton of Weatherford, Texas and her husband, Jack Whitley of Conway. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, December 16, at Roller-McNutt funeral home in Conway and the funeral will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 17, at the funeral home with burial at Crestlawn. Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Norton, Kevin Norton, Brian Norton, Matthew Norton, Paul Caldwell, and Bobby White.
