Michael Fletcher Owens, 63, of Bryant passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2010. Michael was born in Little Rock, October 10, 1947, to Curtis James and Marjorie T. McClain Owens. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Philip Owens. He served honorably in the US Army from 1967-1969 and spent one year in Vietnam with the 1st Calvary Division. Michael was a very caring, loving and generous person and will be greatly missed. His passing will leave a void that cannot be filled. He is survived by his mother; four sisters, Phyllis Jordan (Doyle), Donna Heffington (Dennis), Barbara Arquilla (Larry) and Debra Scott (Rod Skene); two brothers, Fred Owens, and Sherrill Owens (Zelma); six nieces and nephews; nine great-nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m., Friday, December 17, 2010 at Pinecrest Memorial Park with Mr. Bob Kessinger officiating. Arrangements made by Roller-Owens Funeral Home (501-791-7400).
