Pansy Viola Simmons

Pansy Viola Simmons, age 92, of Carlisle, passed away December 15, 2010. She was born April 27, 1918 in Lonoke County. Viola was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Wils Simmons; a son, Danny Simmons; a grandson, Darren Simmons, and a brother, Kelly Lenderman. She is survived by her daughter, Monna Miller of Rockwall, Texas; two sisters, Mamie Gunter of Hazen and Verneta Eubanks of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m., Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen.
