Margaret "Jean" Rich Abercrombie, age 87, of Benton died Wednesday December 15, 2010. She was born August 27, 1923 in Bauxite, Arkansas. Jean was a retired sales clerk for Walton's Office Supplies and Gingle's Dept. Store in Benton and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Benton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucy and Riley Jackson Rich, and husband, Herbert Abercrombie, brother, Jack Rich, Jr.
Survivor, nephew, Doug Rich and wife Cinda, of Little Rock; sister-in-law, Ruby McColloch, Benton; and her precious Yorkie "Princess".
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Pine Crest Cemetery. Minister will be Rev. Victor Green. Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. before the service. Memorials may be made to Saline Memorial Hospice. Online guest book at www.ashbyfuneralhome.com.
