Derrell L. Nutt

Derrell L. Nutt, 86, of Kingsland, Ark. passed away peacefully at the VA hospital in Little Rock where he spent his later years. Mr. Nutt retired from Dallas and Cleveland Counties as a road grader operator. He was a proud WWII wounded war veteran. He is survived by a sister, Pauline (Nutt) House of Bono, Ark.; a brother Bobby Joe Nutt of Waterford, Mich.; a son, David Nutt of Hastings, Mich.; a nephew, Jerry Nutt who he raised and regarded as a son of Tuttle, Okla.; a grandson, Christopher Nutt of Middleville, Mich.; a granddaughter, Donna (Nutt) Martindale of New Edinburg, Ark. and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Nutt was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Millie (Yates) Nutt; his son, Donald L. Nutt of Camden, Ark. and his parents, Barney and Myrtle Nutt of Fordyce, Ark., and two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 20, 2010 at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Stoney Point Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home in Fordyce. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
