Henry Lee Allgood

Henry Lee Allgood, age 66, of Lake Village, died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, at Chicot Memorial Medical Center in Lake Village. He was born Aug. 2, 1944, in Boyle, Miss., the son of the late John Franklin Allgood Sr. and Sarah Morgan Allgood and was a retired cotton picker mechanic and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents, by a son, Ricky Lee Allgood; a brother, John Allgood Jr. and a baby brother and baby sister. Survivors are his wife, Faye Card Allgood of Lake Village; two sons, Troy Allgood of Lake Village and Tommy Allgood of Chesapeake Bay, Va.; one daughter, Melissa Allgood Conville of West Monroe, La.; two brothers, Billy Allgood of Whitehall and Mickle Allgood of Snyder; four sisters, Mary Brooks and Minnie Bell of Dothan, Ala., Rena Jones of Lake Village and Nora Pope of Pine Bluff; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 20, 2010, at Bishop Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 11 a.m.. Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010 at Montrose Cemetery with Larry Conville officiating. Arrangements are by Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.
