Jean L. McDowell

JEAN L. McDOWELL, 83, of Little Rock died Dec. 17, 2010. Born Sept. 12, 1927 in Murfreesboro, Ark., she was the daughter of George and Edna Heath Lochamy. She was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church in Pine Bluff where she was active in the church choir. She was a retired accounting clerk for the Pine Bluff Arsenal. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Edward McDowell, daughter, Carol Elizabeth McDowell, brother, George Lochamy Jr. and sister, Ruby Lowthrop, she is survived by her daughter Jean Anne Ring and her husband, Mark, of Little Rock and her son, Joe Edward McDowell and his wife, Janet, of Little Rock, and grandchildren, Jason Goza, William Ring, Jennifer McDowell and Melissa McDowell. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Murfreesboro Cemetery in Murfreesboro, Ark.
