On Saturday, Dec. 18, RAY ELLEN ODLE went to be with our Lord and Savior. Ray Ellen was born Feb. 6, 1931 in Gregory, Ark., to William Ray Moon and Pearl Addis Boyles. She was predeceased by her parents, two sisters, Maudie Catherine Dickens and Lura Mae Moon. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, J. Edward Odle; and four sons, Eddie (Susan), Tommy (Vicki), Jimmy (Debbie), all of Little Rock, Ark., and Donnie (Kim) of Paron, Ark. Ceramics, sewing, quilting, needlepoint, painting, bird watching, and collectables are just a few of the things that she loved doing. Traveling was a passion she and Ed shared. Over the years, their goal was to visit all 50 states. They completed this goal in 1997 with a memorable trip to Alaska. A faithful church attendee, she was very close to her extended church family. She is a member of Amboy United Methodist Church and the Esther Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Memorials may be made to Amboy United Methodist Church (311 E Military Dr., NLR, Ark., 72118), or Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of America (P.O. Box 4072, Pittsfield, Mass., 01202).
