Byron M. Gatling

Little Rock, AR, 1934 - 2010

Byron McKelvy "Mack" Gatling, 76, of Little Rock died Saturday, December 18, 2010. He was born at Fordyce, Arkansas on November 4, 1934, a son of Byron and Selma Walsh Gatling.
He served in the United States Army from 1957 until 1959 and retired after 45 years of service with Entergy (formerly AP&L). He was a member of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Dorothy "Dot" Forcht Gatling.
Survivors include a brother, Marlon Gatling and his wife Lucy of Camden; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robby and Cheryl Ingram of Spokane, Washington; two nieces, Amy Ingram of Arlington, Texas and Angela Koker and husband Rich Koker of Spokane, Washington; a nephew, Christopher Ingram and wife Keri Ann Ingram of Gallatin, Tennessee; a great nephew, Connor Koker and a great niece, Chelsea Koker, both of Spokane, Washington.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home (501) 224-8300. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, December 23, at Geyer Springs First Baptist Church. Graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at Camden Memorial Park, Camden, Arkansas.
