Emmitt H. McDoniel, Jr., 80, of Griffithville, went to his heavenly home Sunday, December 19, 2010. He was a member of the Griffithville Methodist Church, a Mason, a board member of the Cattleman's Association, and a Korean War Veteran. Mr.
McDoniel is survived by his wife, Joyce McDoniel; one son, Jeff McDoniel and wife, Amanda; one sister, Ethelyn Moyer, one niece, Martha Lynn Rogers and husband, Jimmy; three grandchildren, Ashley, P.J., and Kayla; two nephews, Steve Sherrill and Arnold Shaw; and a whole host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home. Mr. McDoniel's funeral service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 22, 2010, in the Chapel of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home, with Bro. Bill Wise and Bro. Jim Gillam officiating, burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery, in Griffithville.
