Robert Lee McDonald, 70, of Little Rock passed away Saturday, December 18, 2010. He was born January 19, 1940 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late James "Jim" Washington and Ella Addie Brown McDonald. He was a member of Sylvan Hills Church of Christ and was retired from Phillips Electric Company after 40 years. He loved his family, hunting and restoring old cars. He is survived by his son, Michael Allen McDonald and wife, Terra, of Gravel Ridge; sisters, Betty Fowler, of Searcy and Lucy Brann and husband, Travis, of Hot Springs; brothers, Felix McDonald and wife, Leta, of Wrightsville and Quitman McDonald and wife, Dorothy, of Sherwood; and grandchildren, Alex and Allie. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Edna Young, Norma Dreher, Mary Riggin, Helen Johnston and Ruby Johnson; and a brother Colvin McDonald. Memorials may be made to Sylvan Hills Church of Christ-Hope House, 117 W. Maryland, Sherwood, Arkansas 72120 or American Heart Association, 909 West 2nd Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72201. Funeral services will be held 12 p.m., Thursday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Martindale Cemetery.
