Harold Wayne Williams, 72, of Vilonia passed away December 22. He worked for Alltel for 39 years advancing from lineman to central office technician. Mr. Williams served in the Arkansas National Guard during the integration of Little Rock Central High School. He had a passion for farming, hunting, and fishing. He enjoyed golf and helping his friends and family. As a Jaycee, he assisted with improvements to the classrooms at the Vilonia Public Schools. Mr. Williams is survived by his wife of 49 years, Charlette Williams, of Vilonia; his daughter and son-in-law, Rachele and Allen Waters, of Little Rock; a brother and sister-in-law Durwood and Grace Williams, of North Little Rock; two nieces, Sondra McNatt and her husband Glenn, and Sharie Williams, all of North Little Rock, and a myriad of cousins and friends all around the United States. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Martha and Jessie "Buck" Williams; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mervell and Herbert Stanley; a daughter, Rebecca Williams; and a son, James Henry Williams. Visitation will be 5–7 p.m., Saturday, December 25, 2010. Funeral Services will be 1 p.m., Sunday, in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, with the Rev. Belinda Price officiating. Burial will follow in Cypress Valley Cemetery, with Darrell Bishop, Jerry Champlin, Nigel Champlin, Junior Tapley, Richard Sparrow and Billy Vann serving as pallbearers.
