Orville E. Brewer

Orville Edward Brewer, 81, of Little Rock passed away on Dec. 21, 2010. He was born to the late Alden and Lillian Garrity Brewer in Wheeling, W. Va. Orville, a member of the Air Force, proudly served his country in the Korean War. He worked as a U.S. Civil Service employee until his retirement. He enjoyed golfing and cooking. He is survived by his wife, Patricia of the home, his children Stephen Brewer and wife Teri of Houston, Texas, Susan Busa of Austin, Texas, Shelley Reed and husband, Murphy of Austin, Texas; his stepchildren A. Scott Donlevy and wife Kim of Redmond, Wash., and Chris Watson of Blanchard, Okla.; his brother Neil Brewer of Austin, Texas; his sister Molly Burns of Wheeling, W. Va.; 10 grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends, all who will miss him dearly. In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions may be made to St. Jude's at www.StJude.org. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, Dec. 28 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Edward's Catholic Church, 801 Sherman Street, Little Rock, Ark. 72202 with Father Jason Tyler serving as celebrant. Military honors will follow at burial at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in Sherwood. There will be a rosary at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 27 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth Funeral Home, 5800 West 12th, Little Rock, Ark. 72204 (501)661-9111.
