Reverend Geraldee (Johnny) Cardin passed away at Fort Roots Veterans Hospital, Dec. 25, 2010, surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Ruby Lea DeBerry Cardin in 2005, and a daughter Sarah Lee Cardin in 1958. He was born Jan. 22, 1920 in Greenbrier, to the late Jerry and Maude Cardin. He was also preceded in death by his four brothers, Charlie, Dennis, Willie and Russell; and three sisters Ida, Bonnie and Grace. He is survived by daughter, Janie Carpenter of Conway, her daughters Lindsey of Virginia, her son Alban, and Brittany of Tennessee; daughter Lynn Cardin of Bryant and her son Alexander; son Mark Cardin, his son Cole, and his daughter Madison of Florida; and a sister, Lorene of West Virginia. Family visitation will be Monday, Dec. 27, 2010, 6-7:30 p.m., the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel (501)327-7727. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Central Baptist Church.
