Leatha Smith

Leatha Smith, born October 27, 1919, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 27, 2010. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and much loved Nannie. She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church. Leatha was preceded in death by her first husband, Norman J. Madden (1963), her second husband, Martin Smith (2006) and son, Gary Smith (1998). She is survived by her five children, Jimmie Madden and wife, Diane of Benton, Sharon Smith Frazier of Southaven, Mississippi, Bonnie Madden Martindale and husband, Darrell of Paron, Pattie Madden Yelich and husband, Mike of Cabot, Mickie Madden Page and husband, Larry of Wye Mountain; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren with one expected in May; one great-great grandchild; one brother, Woodrow T. Little of Little Rock; and other family members and cherished friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home (501) 224-8300. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, December 29, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel with Larry L. Page, her son-in-law, officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Mark Frazier, Donald Martindale, James Madden, Michael Smith, Jeff Madden and Jon Madden. Honorary pallbearers will be her remaining grandsons, Eric Hamilton, Clint Eason, Josh Eason, Micah Page and Nathan Page.
