Joe "Poppa Joe" Levi Nesmith

Joe "Poppa Joe" Levi Nesmith, 62, of Little Rock departed this life on Thursday, December 23, 2010. He is preceded in death by his father, Levi B. Nesmith; brothers, James Newt Nesmith, and Bernard Nesmith of Philadelphia. He leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Ella Cooper Nesmith; sister, Patty Ann Nesmith-Smith; brother, Robert Nesmith all of Philadelphia, Pa.; wife: Estella Anderson-Nesmith of Little Rock; sons: Joe Williams of Philadelphia, Pa., Jermaine Nesmith of Atlanta, Ga., Leon Nesmith of Conway, Ark., and Jeffery Nesmith of Little Rock, Ark.; daughters: Charrisse Nesmith Coates (Victor), and Darice Nesmith both of Little Rock; 10 grandchildren and an abundance of other family and friends.
