Dr. Robert L. Emerson

Dr. Robert L. Emerson, 91 of Fayetteville, Ark. passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2010 in Fayetteville, Ark. He was born November 13, 1918 in Corsicana, Texas to Sam H. and Eunice (Wyatt) Emerson. He was a graduate of North Texas University and received his PhD from the University of Wisconsin. He was a professor at the University of Florida and deputy director of The Department of Biological Operations at the Pine Bluff Arsenal and he retired from The Center for Toxicological Research at the Pine Bluff Arsenal. He is survived by his wife; Ethel B. Emerson; one son; Joel Emerson of Goshen, Ark., one daughter; Julie Maxwell of Hilton Head, South Carolina, one sister; Frances Speer of Corsicana, Texas, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
