Bryan Edward McCord, 75, of Vilonia, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2010. He was born August 6, 1934, in Lindsey, OK, to the late John McCord and Alma (Barrick) Collins. He was also preceded in work by a brother, Doyle Collins, and two sisters, Wanda and Mary. Mr. McCord retired after 25 years with the U.S. Air Force and served during the Vietnam War. He also retired from the VA where he was a maintenance troubleshooter in the air conditioner/refrigerator department. He owned and operated Eagles Drive In for over 20 years. During his retirement years, he worked with his son at Kieth's Station in Vilonia. He was also a master craftsman. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Linda M. (Betts) McCord; his children: Kieth McCord and wife Pricilla of Vilonia, Cheryl DeWitt of Conway, Tina McCord of Conway, Sheri McCord of Vilonia, Michael Ward and wife Johnnie of Arkadelphia, Randy Ward of Jacksonville, Teresa DeBolt and husband Ralph of Cabot, Jeff Ward of Scottsdale, Ariz.; 15 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Wanda Kay Carter of California. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway with Jarlla Collier and Gean Clark officiating. Arrangements are by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
