Dixie Ferril Townsel

Dixie Ferril Townsel, 70, died on Sunday, June 20, 2010 in Graham. Memorial services will be held in Arkansas at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Dixie was born on December 2, 1939 in Dermott, Arkansas to the late Herbert Andrew and Norma Annette (Harris) Townsel. He married Bonny Lee Hanchey on December 27, 1996 in DeSoto, Texas. Dixie was a veteran of the United States Air Force and he was a retired Title Researcher. Survivors include: wife, Bonny Townsel of Oak Leaf, Texas; daughters, Melody Townsel of Dallas, Texas, Heidi Hays and husband, Scott of Graham, Texas, Noelle Venglarik and husband, Dan of Irving, Texas; son, North Townsel and wife, Amy of McKinney, Texas; sisters, Carolyn Feenstra of Sugarland, Texas, Lana Hawkins of Bearden, Arkansas, Eloise Adams of Crossett, Arkansas, and Annette Hobbs Standridge of McGehee, Arkansas; stepchildren, Jay Hanchey and wife, Katie of Midlothian, Texas and Colleen Caraway and husband, Anthony of Prosper, Texas; 13 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews; Aunt Ella Simmons of DeWitt; Uncle Earl Harris of Stevensville, Mich.
