Alvis Cleo "Tank" Keisler

Sheridan, AR, 1930 - 2010

Alvis Cleo "Tank" Keisler of Sheridan, Arkansas was born January 29, 1930 in Malvern, Arkansas the son of the late Colter W. And Clara Belle Mayhood Keisler. He was a member of Glen Rose Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Keisler enjoyed fishing and traveling with his sons when they played bluegrass music. Many knew him as "Mr. Soundman" Mr. Keisler died Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton at the age of 80.
Survivors: Loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Iwana Kelly Keisler of Sheridan; sons, A. Redmond Keisler and wife Cindy of Sheridan; Rick A. Keisler and wife Judy of Nashville, Tennessee; Randall C. Keisler of Sheridan; six grandchildren, Ashlea, Kelly, Daniel, David, Colter and Jacie; one great-grandchild, Zachary.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Immanuel Baptist Church with Bro. Gary Copeland and Bro. Don McCutcheon officiating.
