Mr. Doyle Jack Moore, age 85, a resident of Dierks, Arkansas died Thursday, July 1, 2010 in Dierks Health and Rehab. He was born July 19, 1924 in Newhope, Arkansas. He was a truck driver for Weyerhaeuser; he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a member of the Dierks Methodist Church.
Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his parents, Jasper and Janie Lowery Moore; seven brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Earnestine McAlister Moore of Dierks; a special friend, Shawn Kirkpatrick of Athens, Arkansas and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside Funeral Services for Mr. Moore will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 3, 2010 in the Dierks Cemetery with Dany Partlow officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in Dierks. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Dierks Methodist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 117, Dierks, Ark. 71833 or a charity of your choice.
