Nathan Leroy Jordan, Jr.

Nathan Leroy Jordan Jr. age 68 of Jacksonville passed away Thursday, July 1, 2010. He was born October 31, 1941 in Cabot, Arkansas to Nathan Leroy Jordan, Sr. and Ina Ruth Swaim Jordan. He worked for Vertac Chemical Company from 1959 until 1986. He was also a mechanical technician for Delux Video retiring in 2004. He loved camping, antiquing, and fishing. Mr. Jordan was preceded in death by his mother, and a daughter, Renae Jordan. Mr. Jordan is survived by his loving wife, Willa Dean Lee Jordan. He is also survived by a son, Phillip Jordan of Jacksonville, and two sisters, Bonnie Wooley and her husband Bob of Jacksonville, Karen Lowerey and her husband John of Minnesota, and his God-son, Gary Jameson of Chesterfield, Missouri. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, July 4, 2010 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with Bro. Ben Leonard officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2 until 4 p.m., Saturday, July 3, 2010 at the funeral home. Arrangements by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home (501) 982-2136.
