Ralph Keck Parkinson

On June 29, 2010, Ralph Keck Parkinson of Bella Vista, put his hand in the hand of Jesus and went home with him. Ralph was born Jan. 28, 1921 at Harrison, Ark., a son of Donald Louis and Gertrude Charlotte (Keck) Parkinson. He was an insurance agent for Prudential Insurance Co. He was an Elder and member of the Session of First Presbyterian Church and served in various church offices. He met his wife, Elsie, while they both were in the Coast Guard, stationed in Hawaii. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Louis and Robert S. Parkinson. Survivors include his wife, Elsie M. (Granseth) Parkinson of the home; two daughters, Nancy Ann Crase of Bella Vista, Ark. and Susan Kimberly Parkinson of Germany and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services Wednesday, July 7, at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Chip Andrus officiating. Cremation by Holt Memorial Chapel.
