PFC. Allen Quinn Yancey, 19, of Bald Knob, died Friday, July 2, 2010. He was born Jan. 14, 1991 in Searcy the son of Robert and Deborah House Yancey. He was a proud solider of the United States Army. He graduated boot camp and AIT at Ft. Leonardwood, Mo. on June 25, 2009, as a member of the 31st Battalion Hellhounds. He was stationed at Ft. Polk, La. and had recently returned from deployment in Haiti. Quinn is survived by his mother, Deborah House of Bald Knob; his grandmother, Ruby Suviaz; his uncle, Larry House and his wife, Lacretia and their children, Logan and Morgan house; his aunts Shawnda and Shelda Suviaz; and several other aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father; his grandfather, Allen Ray House; and his great-uncles, Jimmy Wayne and Bobby Lee Yancey. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Bald Knob.
