Cole Griffin Gately, 13, of Cabot, Ark. died Sunday, July 4, 2010. He was born April 28, 1997 in North Little Rock, Ark. to Ronnie Clay Gately and Terri Marie Flannery Gately. Cole was a student at Cabot Middle School South. He played optimist football for the Cowboys and planned to play in Jr. High. Cole loved to hunt, fish, ride 4-wheelers, watch Nascar and 4 wheel drive trucks. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Hubert "Babe" Gately and Miles Flannery. He is survived by his parents Ronnie and Terri Gately; two grandmothers, Dalene Flannery and Martha Gately; one sister, Bayleigh Flesher; one brother, Clay Flesher; four cousins, Austin Gately, Jordan Gately, Brady Flannery, and Slade Flannery; special friends, Levi Oglesby, Kourtney Oglesby, and Lake Boyett, as well as lots of special aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Grace Family Church with Rev. Paul Luman officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
