Damon E. Wilson, 84, died Sunday, July 4, 2010 at his home. He was a United States Marine Veteran, WWII and Baptist by faith. Survived by his wife, Bertie Wilson; daughters, Sherry Cooley of Hot Springs, Kathy Force of Damascus and Sheena Trawick of Quitman; sons, Bill Kennedy of Heber Springs and Ricky Kennedy of Quitman. Also survived by twenty two grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Ronald Eugene Schlotthauer. A memorial service will be held at the Centerpoint Baptist Church on Tuesday at 2 p.m. The family requests memorials be sent to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
