E.R. (Bob) Wall, age 64, of Monticello passed away Sunday, July 4, 2010, in Hot Springs, Ark. Born on May 23, 1946 in Hickory Ridge, Ark., he was the son of the late Leland Orten Wall and Mable Lawrence Wall. He was a retired school counselor with the Monticello School District and was presently self-employed as a specialty advertising salesman with the Lee Wayne Corporation. Bob was a faithful member of the Pauline Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He was also a graduate of Arkansas A&M College (now UAM), past president of the Monticello Kiwanis Club and an avid UAM basketball supporter. Survivors include his wife, Sara Johnson Wall of Monticello; two sons, Jonathan Robert Wall and wife, Krissi of Monticello and Colin Patterson Wall and wife, Leanna of Little Rock; one brother, Leland Wall of La Vergne, Tenn.; and two grandsons, Andrew Thomas Wall and Henry Breckenridge Wall. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at the Pauline Missionary Baptist Church by Rev. Larry Clements, Rev. Chad Graves, Dr. Randy Cloud and Chaplain John Goodman. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Monticello by Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
