Joyce Gunter Kemper

Joyce Gunter Kemper, 79, of Vilonia, passed away Wed. July 7, 2010. Born in Vilonia, on Sept. 14, 1930, she was a daughter to the late Boyd Albert and May (Dixon) Gunter. Joyce was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a member of Northside Church of Christ. She retired from Kimberly Clark Corp. Her son Robert Kemper, Sr. and six siblings also preceded her in death. Survivors include her devoted husband of 58 years, Harden Kemper; sons: Bruce Kemper and wife Julie of Vilonia, Norman Kemper and wife Nellwyn of Cabot and Ronnie Kemper and wife Kerri of Damascus; a daughter, Regina Savage and husband Horace of Vilonia; daughter-in-law, Tanya Kemper Hightower of Bigelow; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 10, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with Walton Weaver officiating. Interment will follow at Oliver Cemetery in Mt. Vernon.
