Steve Humble, 63, of Little Rock, passed away on Sunday, July 4th, 2010. He was born on November 11, 1946 in Fairbault, Minnesota to the late Earl and Maxine (Fratzke) Humble. Steve was a retired state transportation employee who enjoyed traveling and was an avid bowler. He was a member of the Poets Roundtable of Arkansas for number of years. Steve was an oblate of St. Benedict of the Olivetine Benedictine in Jonesboro. He always had a smile on his face and loved the time he spent with family. He enjoyed watching people especially children having fun. Steve will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Pamela (Koehler) Humble of Little Rock; his brothers-in-law, Charles Koehler of North Little Rock and William Rempe of Bigelow; his nieces and nephews and a large extended family and a host of friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, July 9th, 2010 at 12 noon at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church with burial to follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Celebrant will be Father Erik Pohlmeier. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday,July 8th, with a rosary will beginning at 7 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth Funeral Home, 5800 West 12th, Little Rock, Arkansas 72204 (501) 661-9111.
