Gladys Mae Delk

Gladys Mae Delk, 90, of Helena, Arkansas passed away Monday, July 5, 2010 in Searcy, Arkansas. Mrs. Delk was born October 22, 1919 to the late Fletcher Keller and the late Ethel Mae Norton Keller. She was a charter member Harmony Baptist Church in West Helena and a present member of Second Baptist Church in West Helena. She is survived by two sons, Marvin Delk and wife, Kathy, of Bald Knob, Arkansas, and Larry Delk and wife, Mary Lou, of Lexa, Arkansas; three daughters, Doris Foley of Helena, Carolyn McMillan and husband, Billy, of Helena, and Judy Paine and husband, Johnny, of Allen, Texas; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; Commodore Bullard of Searcy; sister-in-law, Marlene Keller; nephew, Pete Hibbard; and an aunt, Lillie Hagar of Bald Knob. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas "Tom" Leslie Delk; two infant daughters; three brothers; one grandson; one great-grandson; and a son-in-law, Everett Foley. Services for Mrs. Gladys Delk will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 10, 2010 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Roller-Citizens. Burial will be at Cypert Cemetery in Marvell, Arkansas. Reverend Jerry Goodwin will officiate. Pallbearers are great-grandsons, Zach Delk, Chandler Delk, Trevor Wooten, Brandon Wooten, Eric Delk and grandson, Dennis Delk. Honorary pallbearers will be Mrs. Delk's grandsons.
