MAXELLEN GOODMAN CRAIG, 79, of Sherwood passed away Thursday, July 8, 2010. She was born June 3, 1931 in Decatur, Tenn. to the late Elbert and Maggie Herndon Goodman. She is now reunited with her loved ones in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was an avid Razorback fan and was called "Weemama" by her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George L. Craig. She is survived by her friend and companion of 27 years, Jim Morris; her daughters, Monica Craig of North Little Rock, and Valerie Craig Hawthorn and husband John, of Hot Springs; grandchildren, Abigail, Seth, Johnathan, Jacob and Hadassah; two brothers, Paul Goodman and Scott Goodman, both of North Little Rock; sister, Helen Gorman, of Atlanta, Ga.; wonderful nephew, John Michael Gorman and many other loving nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a special appreciation to her doctor, Kimberly Curseen, of UAMS and special friends, Geneva Huddle, Eloise Buckley, Edith and Lonnie Crabtree and a special love for the Challenger Sunday School class. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Monday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
