Ralph Edward Brimer

Ralph Edward Brimer, age 65, of Atkins, Ark., passed away Friday, July 9, 2010. He was born Oct. 22, 1944, in Truman, Ark., a son of Charley Brimer and Naomi Hutchens Brimer. He was a Vietnam Army Veteran, retired Engineer for Union Pacific Railroad and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Porter Brimer of Atkins; son, Elda Brimer of Orlando, Fla.; sister, Erlene Childress of San Pierre, Ind.; brother, Charles Brimer of Searcy; sister-in-law, Debbie Brimer of Morrilton; and step-children, Dena Utt, Tony Porter and Martie Jones all of Cameron, Mo. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 12, 2010, at the Harris Chapel. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Monday, at Welcome Home Cemetery near Des Arc, by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
