Curtis Delano Jolly, 26, of Cabot died Sunday, July 11, 2010. He was born August 27, 1983 in Garland, Texas to Del and Leesa Tullos Jolly. Curtis was a real fighter. He survived from the brink of death many times, amazing the medical people and the family. No matter the trials he faced he remained in good spirits. He never complained. Curtis never thought of himself but was a constant giver just as the Lord wishes all of us could be. He had a smile and chuckle that brought joy to all who saw and heard it. His physical problems were many and the doctors that treated him were amazed by his will to live. The family is grateful to the doctors and staff at Children's Hospital for all the care Curtis received in the past 12 years. In addition to his parents, Curtis is survived by his sisters, Amber and Ashleigh Jolly, his grandparents, Sharon and Delano Jolly of Jacksonville and Bobby and Shirley Tullos of Garland, Texas as well as aunts and uncles, Lori and Rob Parrot of Arlington, Texas, Kerri and Jack Sloan of Comanche, Texas and Monica and Kenny Hall and many cousins. Visitation will begin Friday, July 16, 2010 at noon with funeral services at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Cabot Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
