Rex Ann Waymon

Rex Ann Waymon, a resident of Salt Lake City for the past four years, passed away on June 25, 2010. Rex Ann was born in Holly Grove, Arkansas on September 17, 1939 to Cona and Rector Thomas. She spent her childhood and early adult years in Pocahontas, Arkansas. Her last 20 years, before retirement, were spent in the Health Care Industry in Hot Springs Arkansas. She was a shinning example of strength, compassion and service as a Nursing Home Administrator and a Supervisor and Inspector of nursing homes for the State of Arkansas. Rex Ann is survived by her sister, Elta Lee Johnson of Bountiful, Utah, nephew Jack Johnson Jr. of Atlanta, Ga., niece Jennifer Sila of Peachtree City, Ga. and niece Laura Branson of Tomball, Texas. She will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. at McNabb Funeral Home in Pocahontas, Arkansas on Friday, July 16. Funeral services will be on Saturday, July 17, at 11 a.m. with interment a the Masonic Cemetery.
