Queen Ester Blann-Mays of Wrightsville, AR conceded life on Saturday, July 10, 2010. Queen's life began September 29, 1942 to the late Nathaniel and Ollie Allen. Her confession to Christ came early in life under the tutelage of Beebe Chapel Church, Wrightsville, Arkansas. She was united in marriage to the late Robert Mays on December 22, 1987. She leaves to cherish her memories: one son, Earnest L. Blann Jr. of Little Rock, Ark., three daughters, Delisa (Robert) Hall of Haymarket, Virginia, Kimberly (Rodney) Anderson and Lakhiva Blann both of Little Rock, Ark.; three grandchildren, Colea, Cameron and RJ all of Little Rock, AR; one brother, Carl Allen of Wrightsville, AR; one sister, Ida Blackmon of Portland, Oregon; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, July 16, 2010, 11 a.m., at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home Chapel, 1200 Chester St., LR (501) 372-1305. Interment will follow at Rest In Peace Gardens Hensley, Ark. Family request in lieu of floral arrangements, please make a charitable donation to American Heart Association.
