Richard Lee "Dick" Stults was born in Portland, Indiana on April 16, 1936 as the youngest of five children, to Floyd C. and Mary R. Stults. On July 13, 2010, surrounded by family at his home in Ash Flat, Arkansas, he passed from this life at the age of 74 years from the effects of Alzheimer's disease. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary L. Weaver Stults, son Michael A. Stults, and siblings Albert L. Stults, Virginia L. Whitenack, Anna L. Bubp and Marjorie J. Boxell. Left to remember him are his daughters and sons-in-law, Debra K. and David Gibbs of Lonoke, Ark., Susan L. and William Miller of Cherokee Village, Ark. and Pamela J. and Richard Pasierb of Maumelle, Ark. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Kristopher Staton, Brandon Kerr, Aaron Gibbs and Kira Gibbs; two great-grandchildren, Chase Staton and Addilynn Kerr; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Our dad was a private, quiet and strong man, who was full of wisdom. After over 20 years of service, he retired from the U.S.A.F. as a Master Sergeant, working in the missile wing. In all his years of military service, he was stationed at Little Rock A.F.B. in Jacksonville, Ark. He and his 2nd wife, Mary, moved to Ash Flat in 1990. He used to enjoy working in his garage and garden, enjoyed reading, especially his Bible, and loved to ride the country roads on his motorcycle. We will miss him, but are grateful to know his suffering is over and he's in God's care. Arrangements are by Tri-County Funeral Home in Highland, Ark. and by his wish, services will be private. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery in Imboden, Ark. In lieu of flowers, we hope that you donate to the church or charity of your choice, in memory of our dad.
