Elsie Pearl Flowers Dugger, 85, died Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Stoneybrook Health and Rehabilitation in Benton. She was born May 7, 1925 to Elder Samuel Turner and Myrtle Morgan Flowers in Erick, Oklahoma. She was born and raised in the Primitive Baptist faith and was a member of Fuller Chapel Primitive Baptist Church in North Little Rock. She was retired as an administrative assistant for the Rehabilitation Services of Arkansas. Preceding her in death were her parents, five brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Wesley Dugger, of Benton; her five children, Sherry Wood (Sam) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Paula Cathcart (Jim) of Newbury Park, California, Jenny Mercing (Terry) of Mayflower, Leslie Coburn (Bill) of Benton, and Sam Dugger (Kathy) of Powder Springs, Georgia; her eight grandchildren, Mark Wood (Ann), Carrie Morris (Eric), Jim Cathcart, Jr. (Sonya), Chris East, Cynthia East, Sara Beth Russell (Kevin), Nikki Coburn and Tonya Dugger; her nine great-grandchildren, Spenser Wood, Kyle and Ryan Lawrence, Michael and Anna Morris, Jason and Amber Cathcart, Aiyla East, and Luke Russell; her sister, Anna Lou Clifton of Las Vegas, Nevada; and her brother, S.T. Flowers of Tulsa, Oklahoma. The family wants to thank Saline Memorial Hospice and Stoneybrook for the wonderful care and love shown to Mrs. Dugger. Memorials may be made to Fuller Chapel Primitive Baptist Church, 5910 Tolliver Lane, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72118. Funeral services will be held 12:30 p.m. Monday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel with Elders James Winston, Vernon Lee and Frank Blair officiating. Burial will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170.
