MARY JO ROWE KIMMINS MEAD GLOVER, 85, a resident of North Little Rock, died Friday, July 16, 2010, at Arkansas Hospice at Doctor's Hospital in Little Rock. Born March 27, 1925, in Farmington, she was a daughter of Reverend Doyle Thomas and Olive Inez Bates Rowe. Mrs. Glover was a 1945 graduate of Hendrix College, she received a Bachelors Degree in Elemantary Education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 1961, and a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Arkansas at Fayateville in 1970. She was employed by the Little Rock School District, as an elementary school teacher for 28 years, retiring on July 1, 1985. Mrs. Glover was a member of Park Hill Presbyterian Church in North Little Rock. She was also a member of the Ninty-Nines. Mrs. Glover was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, A. L. Rowe, H. R. Rowe, and J. F. Rowe; three husbands, William C. Kimmins, Donald M. Mead, and Jerry Preston Glover. Survivors include two daughters, Betty Ann Henry of Little Rock, and Sandra L. Kimmins of Dallas; granddaughter and husband, M. Michelle and Justin Garber of Jacksonville, Fla.; step-daughter and husband, Julia and Todd May; one great-grandson, Wyatt Garber of Jacksonville, Fla.; extended family, Martha Jo and Ray Schilling of North Little Rock. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 19, 2010, at Park Hill Presbyterian Church, 3520 J. F. K. Blvd, North Little Rock, 72216, with Reverend Gordon Garlington officiating and under the direction of Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Graceland Cemetery in Pine Bluff by Ralph Robinson & Son.
