James Reeder Johnson

James Reeder Johnson, 86, of Helena, Ark. passed away Saturday, July 17, 2010. Mr. Johnson was borh April 5, 1924 to Louis Reeder Johnson and Faye Wiggins Johnson in East Prairie, Mo. Mr. Johnson married and raised his family in Phillips County, he also proudly served his country in World War II and received the Purple Heart. He is survived by daughter, Rita Ann Johnson of Little Rock; sister, Lucille Johnson Dillard (John) of Greenville, Miss.; brother-in-law, Harry Keatts Sr., of Osceola; niece, Carolyn Gerity (bill) of Powell, Ohio; nephew, Harry Keatts Jr. (Janet) of Osceola. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Frances Ann Gough Johnson. Pallbearers are Kyle Cannon, Sean Lewis, Mark Rogers, Steve Cannon, Paul Dees and Don Pfeffer. Services are Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Roller-Citizen Chapel at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in SUnset Memorial Park in West Helena.
