Jack Woodrow Jones, born March 19, 1957, passed away suddenly on July 17, 2010 at the age of 53 at his home in Coppell, Texas. Jack was born in Little Rock, Arkansas and married to the love of his life, Gail McNeal in Morrilton, Arkansas in 1983, Jack was always an Arkansan at heart, with a heart the size of his beloved adopted state of Texas. There are so many adjectives for Jack Jones: Loving husband, incredible father, faithful brother and son, fun uncle, loyal son-in-law, enthusiastic coach, giving friend, devoted professional, and encourager and servant to all. Jack was a member of Irving Bible Church in Irving, Texas and was Director of Logistics for Mattel, Inc. in Fort Worth, Texas. Jack was always energetic and ready to have fun whether it was at work, fishing, hunting, coaching his children's sports teams or playing golf or a little backyard football. Jack had a ceaseless love for life, and a love of being with friends and family. Jack is preceded in death by his father, John David Jones; sisters, Janet Jones and Carolyn Roberts; son, Paul Leslie Jones; Grandparents, Woodrow and Ercie Jones and Jack and Marie Hinkson, all of Little Rock, Arkansas. Jack is survived by his wife, Gail McNeal Jones, daughter, Elizabeth Knight Jones, and son, William McNeal Jones of Coppell, Texas; mother, Barbara Jean Stafford of Little Rock, Arkansas; father and mother-in-law, Bill and Martha McNeal of Little Rock, Arkansas; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Karen McNeal of Perryville, Arkansas and brother and sister-in-law, David and Jan Minchew; niece, Katie Minchew, nephews, Tyler and Michael Minchew all of Frisco, Texas; special friend and mentor, Paul Burnbach Jr. of Little Rock, Arkansas; and dozens of boys and girls whose lives were also touched by Jack. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 20, at 6-8 p.m. at Restland Coppell Chapel in Coppell. The funeral service will be Wednesday, July 21, at 11 a.m. at Irving Bible Church in Irving, Texas. A graveside service will be Thursday, July 22, at 11:00 at Nimrod Cemetery in Nimrod, Arkansas.
