Lois C. Raney, 82, of Fordyce died Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Dallas County Medical Center in Fordyce. She was born March 27, 1928 in Dallas County. She was a homemaker and a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church in Fordyce.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard C. McMahan and Julia Garlington McMahan; her husband, Rex Raney and one sister, Betty Sue Parker. She is survived by two daughters, Sue Raney Hays of Houston, Texas and Brenda Raney Bumpas of Fordyce; one sister, Joyce Williams of Fordyce; four grandchildren, Donna Livingston of La Porte, Texas, Greg Kaase of Houston, Texas, Willie R. Bumpas of Rison and Shelia Williams of Hot Springs; four great-grandchildren, Rex Kasse of Houston, Texas, Krystal Bumpas and Willie R. Bumpas, III both of Rison and Justin Williams of Hot Springs.
Visitation will be Tuesday 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday at Benton Funeral Home with Rev. Nathan Petty officiating.
