Lois M. Roller (nee Curtis), 87, of Belleville, Illinois, formerly from Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2010. She was born on October 22, 1922 to Monroe and Viola Curtis in the Nebo community of Paron. Lois was a member of North Fork Missionary Baptist Church and a small bar and grill owner prior to retirement. She will be fondly remembered for the loving care she provided her family and the ability to uplift and help others. She was a high school graduate of Paron High School and enjoyed playing basketball during her high school years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Roller of Little Rock, her parents, and her brother, Coy Curtis of Paron. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Kim Dutton of Arlington, Texas and son, Curtis Williams of Belleville, Illinois and his wife Dolores Williams (nee High), of Belleville; two grandchildren, Lyn Williams, of Belleville and Joshua Dutton of Conroe, Texas. She is also survived by nephew Mike Curtis and his wife Dee Dee, nephew, Ricky Curtis and great-nephews, Chris Curtis of Little Rock and Clay Curtis of Paron; one great-niece, Kendra Curtis of Hot Springs and one great-grandchild, Danielle Helbig of Belleville and many other nephews, nieces and friends. Visitation will be at Ashby Funeral Home in Benton, Arkansas on Friday July 23 from 9 to 10 a.m. followed by funeral services in the Ashby Funeral Home Chapel at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Don McCutcheon officiating. Interment will be in Bolin Cemetery near Paron. Memorials may be made to the North Fork Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund at 14925 Lewis Trail, Paron, Ark. 72122.
