Anne McShane Luckinbill Sharp, age 84, passed away on July 21, 2010. A daughter of J. Max and Madeleine Luckinbill, she was born in Ft. Smith, Ark., on March 30, 1926. Anne was a fourth generation graduate of St. Anne's Academy in Ft. Smith, attended Nazareth Academy in Nazareth, Ky., and Webster College in St. Louis, Mo., graduating from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Ark., where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She is survived by two sons, W. Wilson Sharp and wife, Lee of Albuquerque, N.M., and Baxter Sharp III of Brinkley, Ark.; one daughter, Madeleine Gretchen Sharp-Smith of BelAir, Md.; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Anne was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Sharp; parents, J. Max and Madeleine McShane Luckinbill; and siblings, Patrick Luckinbill and Max Luckinbill. Visitation will be 6 p.m., with a Rosary starting at 7:30 p.m., Sunday July 25, 2010, at Bob Neal & Sons Funeral Home, 300 W. Hemlock Street, Brinkley. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m., Monday, July 26, 2010, at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, 203 West Ash Street, Brinkley, Ark. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
