John Audrain

John Kay Audrain, age 54, of Fayetteville died Friday July 23, 2010. He was born Dec. 27, 1955 in Okmulgee, Okla. to Jack and Martha Skillern Audrain. He was a 1974 graduate of Fayetteville High School and attended the University of Arkansas where he was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. He spent his career with AT&T providing telephone service in various capacities. He enjoyed playing golf, and was an avid Razorback and Dallas Cowboy fan. He prided himself on being the biggest Disney geek ever. John was a proud Watch Dog Dad at Asbell Elementary School, enjoyed people and loved to laugh. He was a devoted husband and father and loved his family above all. He is survived by his wife of 17 years Glenda Brooks Audrain; his daughter Kellie Audrain; brother Scott Audrain and his wife Carren of Fayetteville; sister Jacki McWhorter and her husband Dan of Fayetteville; 10 nieces and nephews Randy Audrain, Bradley Audrain, Spencer Audrain, Travis Drain, Kristi McWhorter Drain, Kylee Drain, Macey Brooks, Cambre Brooks, Halsey Brooks, Courtney Brooks and Ryan Brooks. Family visitation will be 5 p.m.–7 p.m. Monday, July 26, 2010 at Moores Chapel. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Moores Chapel with burial at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
