Dorothy Marjean Henderson

Dorothy Marjean Henderson 78, of Alread, Arkansas passed away Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Ozark Health Nursing Center Clinton, Arkansas. She was born May 25, 1932 at Yakima, Washington to the late Ralph and Flossie (Mobley) Brooks. She was an active member in the Alread Extention Homemakers Club, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star of New York, member of Morning Star and Eastern Star in Scotland and held many offices in both chapters. She attended the Alread Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her beloved husband of 47 years Roy J. Henderson. She is survived by a son, Michael R. Henderson of the home, sister and brothe-in-law, Shirley and George McAlpin of Yakima, Washington. Casketbearers: Barnett Bruce, Cub Bruce, Shane Dunavant, Grady Emerson, Ron Harder, and Billy Watson. Honorary Casketbearers: Ray Baudra, Ramona Drenner, Joyce Goodman, Kenneth Lake, and a special thank you to Ruth Bruce. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, July 27, 2010 and Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Clinton, Arkansas with Preacher, Benton Allan Jr. officiating.
