Harold Raymond Woodruff

Benton, AR, 1933 - 2010

Harold Raymond Woodruff, 76, of Benton, passed from this world to be with his Lord on Saturday July 24, 2010. He was born Sept. 13, 1933 in Centerpoint, Arkansas to the late Luther Calvin and Clara Stokes Woodruff. Harold served in the United States Navy during the Korean War and later served 12 years in the Marine Corp Reserves. He was a member of the Park Place Baptist Church.
Survivors, wife of 58 years, Stella La Juan Woodruff, three children, Alan Woodruff and wife, Barbara of Georgia, Rita Landry of Malvern, Roger Woodruff and wife, Stacy of Florida, two grandchildren, Ricky Sebastian and wife, Jackie, Austin Woodruff and great-granddaughter, Sophie Sebastian. He leaves behind four brothers, Luther "Dock" Woodruff of Cabot, Edgar Woodruff of Murfreesboro, Charles "Chock" Woodruff of Benton, Ronny Woodruff of Nashville, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Al Parker, James Shuffield, Theron Price, Marc Gross, Jim Brewer and Ken Medlock. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tom Morrow and Pinky Caldwell. Chapel Services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 12 noon, Tuesday with Bro. I.V. Hight, Bro. Gary Lambright and Richard Akin officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery.
