Mavis Reding, 100, of Fort Smith passed away Monday, July 19, 2010 in a local nursing. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, the Uplifters Sunday School Class and a Homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Reding and brother Edward Wells. Graveside Services be 10 a.m., Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith. She is survived by two sons; Thomas Reding and his wife Judy of Fort Smith, and Dr. David Reding and his wife Jananne of Little Rock; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
